Overview
Audio Lights DMX ("the App") is a show control application that synchronizes audio playback with DMX lighting over local networks. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.
Data Collection
Audio Lights DMX does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
The App operates entirely offline and on your local network. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no cloud services.
Data Stored on Your Device
The App stores the following data locally on your device only:
Project data — scene configurations, fixture setups, cue lists, and playlist arrangements
Audio files — music and sound files you import into the App for playback
Waveform cache — pre-computed audio waveform data for faster display
App preferences — Art-Net target IP address and other settings
All data remains on your device and is never uploaded to any server.
Network Usage
The App communicates over your local Wi-Fi network using the Art-Net protocol (UDP port 6454) to control DMX lighting equipment. This communication:
Occurs only on your local network
Contains only DMX lighting control data (channel values 0–255)
Does not contain any personal information
Does not connect to the internet
Third-Party Services
Audio Lights DMX does not integrate with any third-party services, advertising networks, analytics platforms, or cloud storage providers.
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any data to third parties. There is no data to share — everything stays on your device.
Children's Privacy
The App does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
File Access
The App requests access to your device's file system solely to import audio files you select. The App only reads files you explicitly choose through the system file picker. It does not scan or access any other files on your device.
Data Deletion
All App data is stored locally on your device. To delete all data, simply delete the App from your device. You can also delete individual projects, scenes, fixtures, and audio files from within the App at any time.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
